Charity is the heart and soul of service and ministry. Without compassion and mercy, no other spiritual gifts have any purpose or meaning - not even our own faith in God. The Apostle concludes that there are three important things in our lives: Faith, Hope, and Charity. His conclusion is that Charity is the greatest of the three.

All that Thou Commandest Us We Will Do
Each one of us ought to devote our time and energy in studying the standard works every day. This is accomplished by establishing a study schedule that best serves our personal needs. And is something we are motivated and committed to following consistently. Developing an understanding and love for the scriptures will greatly help in the challenges and responsibilities we have in our lives. Helps us be of service toward others. Improve our ability to relate and communicate with others.
Of a Godly Mindset
There are oft times when I found myself needing guidance regarding given situations. My usual tendency was to pray for direction. However, I have come to learn that my Heavenly Father has a better way. I no longer seek direction. Instead, I seek wisdom and the direction before me becomes clear. Merely praying for direction limits God to providing information. Pray to seek wisdom and God grants one a Godly mindset. As Peter says, we become partakers of His divine nature (2 Peter 1:4). Part of that divine nature is the mindset of God.
Where Wisdom in Recovery Begins
Wisdom in recovery begins when we come to realize the love God has for us and are able to confidently find rest and peace. I know the truth of this reality. Such true understanding had to come by my own overwhelming awareness of His greatness, holiness, and power as they contrasted with my own sinful and carnal nature. There was nothing more fear-inducing than this. It is where I needed to begin. It is where healing and restoration of my mind, heart, and soul had to begin.
Be Mindful in Your Prayer For He Knows What You Need
As I grow spiritually, true and mindful prayer becomes my confession of absolute dependence on my Heavenly Father. It is a vital contact with Him on a day-to-day basis in order to experience His presence from moment-to-moment. It is when I fully commit to mindful and meditative prayer where I truly find peace, receive personal revelation, wisdom and counsel to apply to those problems and difficulties I face.
Strong and Empowering Faith
I will attempt to clear out of my life and my mind all the destructive tools previously used. I know they do nothing to bring me to a life with peace of mind and experience an abundant and fruitful life in Christ. I will strive to learn to use the whole armor of God. I will strive to focus on being kind, patient, courteous, and show the love of Christ and our Heavenly Father. With a strong faith and determination, I will do what is necessary to improve my life.
Through Godly Wisdom We Face Daily Struggles
There are going to be emotional conflicts we have to deal with every day. Our relationships will have significant impact. How we view life and all things around is will take on whole new meanings. Yet, if we remain at a standstill expecting our problems sufferings will miraculously disappear we will experience disappointment and resentment toward God.

Are you praying for selfish reasons?
Through quiet meditation I defer my decisions until my contact with Heavenly Father has brought about certainty the path for me is right. And I pray to keep myself from taking any action, even a little one, that may be intended toward disappointment and potential suffering.
Delivered Out of Our Afflictions
Our Heavenly Father desires to help us through our journey. This includes guiding us in solving our problems. When we are walking in obedience to His divine will and plan, he will help us face those difficult issues and bring us through them. This means that we submit ourselves over to doing that which we may find uncomfortable.
Watch How You Walk
We are to discipline our very thoughts and actions to conform to Godly Wisdom and Righteousness.
On becoming wise
Through personal prayer, study, and meditation on God's word do we find His wisdom and insights. Cultivating relationship with men of integrity, valor, and living a disciplined spiritual life is another means whereby we grow in Godly Wisdom.
