Our Testimony is the armor of God the Apostle Paul references in Ephesians 6:11-17 (See also, D&C 27:15-18). And it is vital to our faith, our progress toward maturing in our faith, and going forward with meaning and purpose.

Day 6 – Our Purpose is to Trust God
Our call to go forward with faith and purpose in the new year is meant for us to examine ourselves and determine whether or not we truly place full confidence in who Christ is, in the teachings of the pure doctrines of Christ, and trust in those personal revelations he has given us. Trust in Christ means we go forward with faith, despite any doubts we may have. Despite our perceived inadequacies. For if we go forward in faith, with purpose, we are blessed to accomplish those things we are called to accomplish. For if we go forward in faith, with purpose, we are able to do the things our Heavenly Father has commanded us to do.
Day 5 – Our Life is a Test
Our mortality is a test where we are to gain a vision and understanding of who Christ is, thereby gaining understanding of who our Heavenly Father is. Having this vision helps us go forward in faith and purpose because we know who we are and where we are heading.
Day 1 – Center on Christ
True, and authentic Christian faith and living, rests on the pure doctrine of Christ where life is about letting our Heavenly Father use us for His purpose and not for our own gain and sense of satisfaction. The Apostle Paul taught that for those who are carnally minded are set against the true things of God. However, those who are spiritually minded are such because they have set their hearts and minds on God for life and peace (Romans 8:6).
Fellowship with Grace and Compassion
The only help I am able to give is to offer grace and compassion. Pray for them. Pray for wisdom and guidance in how I may be able to comfort and support them. Listen and empathize with them. Sit with them in silence. We do not ever want to feel trapped.
What you may not know
James Pack maintains his own website and wrote up quite a profound and honest piece. A very honest and straightforward perception on one's experience with feeling abandoned. And, the most gut-wretched profound insight was this: ...where is everyone else? What happened to all the people who said they cared about me? I claim part of… Continue reading What you may not know

Facing dark days
There are those oft days of light and happiness that dispel the sadness. Yet, they are fleeting. As fleeting as the summer days we've so far experienced here for June. Inevitably, the rain comes, the darkness swells, and the days grow gloomy and despondent. We either allow ourselves to sink deeper and withdraw further into our suffocating sadness; or, we do the courageous and difficult task of pulling ourselves out of despair by focusing on the hope and light of God's love, mercy, and grace.

Christ brings peace and purpose
This is a lasting and eternal peace that gives us confidence, wisdom, and empowerment to endure. It is different than the false sense of security and peace that the world may offer us. Instead of chasing after our illusion of happiness - let us chase after the reality and truth that is found in Jesus Christ.
On Being an Encouraging Person
We show kindness toward others. After all, isn't this what Jesus taught us to do? Show kindness and mercy to others? Is not what his teachings centered on - showing mercy, grace, kindness, and love toward others? How many more souls are we to save and add to the way when we show the same level of compassion, kindness, grace, and mercy toward others who are downtrodden, hopeless, and crumbling faith?
