Day 5 – Our Life is a Test

Our mortality is a test where we are to gain a vision and understanding of who Christ is, thereby gaining understanding of who our Heavenly Father is. Having this vision helps us go forward in faith and purpose because we know who we are and where we are heading.

Day 1 – Center on Christ

True, and authentic Christian faith and living, rests on the pure doctrine of Christ where life is about letting our Heavenly Father use us for His purpose and not for our own gain and sense of satisfaction. The Apostle Paul taught that for those who are carnally minded are set against the true things of God. However, those who are spiritually minded are such because they have set their hearts and minds on God for life and peace (Romans 8:6).

Surrounded by God’s Divine and Sovereign Favor

I need to know this when I wonder whether or not my pursuit of Godliness is worth the cost. It always is. I may not see it right away, however, I will eventually see it. God has never withheld blessing from anyone whose heart was humble, contrite, and lowly before Him. Never. That would contradict His character and it would violate His sovereign promises. He blesses the righteous and surrounds them with divine favor.

Guard Your Life

Where do my affections lie? Do I hear the truth and then turn my heart toward other things? I will not retain what I have heard or read unless I spend time dwelling on it, turning it over in my mind and locking it within my heart. I will not be changed and I will not grow by passive hearing. I must set my affections on God's wisdom, act on it, and beat away any philosophical or material rivals. The promise for doing that is amazing: life and health. Truth and righteousness are powerful; they are the substance of my own life.

Living Out Spiritual Truths Daily

When I am strengthened by the faith and grace of God, I find that I am able to look at things in their proper perspective. I don't let my past get too close, lest it take on fearsome proportions that do not reflect my true character. I pray to accept, with a peaceful mind, the things I know are out of my control. Things I have no power to change. Knowing it is futile to be obstinate about the inevitable. I pray to be resolute to take decisive action in things that I know must need changing. Things that stifle my true character in Jesus Christ.

Christian Mindful Spiritual Discipline: Managing My Anger Due to Feeling Threatened

When it comes to our Christian faith - we are to learn to become better individuals. It is not only striving to be more Christ-like in our lives. It involves being mindful in our thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. We may not believe that there may be a solution to those problems that evoke us toward anger. One of the motivating factors toward our natural disposition toward anger centers on perceived (whether real or not) danger. When we experience anger, chances are that it is due to us feeling quite threatened.

Taming of the Tongue

When someone explodes, I am responsible to realize that it is always best to be mindful and remain silent. I want to remind myself that such outbursts only reveal the individuals own unhappiness and dissatisfaction. I move to detach myself from making the situation far more worst by taking seriously what they say.

Meet Another Where they Are At

It is a true Christian mindful and spiritual experience to lead a desperate individual into a new point of view. We learn the subtle difference between pity and empathetic understanding. We do not flaunt our own Christian blessings and victories. We allow God's love and blessings speak for themselves.

3 Key Elements of Spiritual Growth

We see great benefits when we read and meditate on the word of God. The Bible teaches us, corrects us when we are in error, trains us for righteousness in order for us to be complete, and equipped to engage in ministry through Christ.

Being Still and Calm

We communicate with the divine and receive instruction. Godly wisdom and counsel. Through stillness we come to know that God is in control and we graciously surrender ourselves over to him.
