When we seek first God's Kingdom, we shall be blessed with those things we stand in need of temporally. As our faith increases, so does our ability to seek God and conform to his will and desire for our lives. In doing so, we will be blessed through our obedience to the teachings and commandments that he has given us.

Day 3 – Faith is what Drives your Life
Faith is the driving factor to us going forward into this new year with purpose and meaning. The Apostle Paul taught that faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen (Hebrews 11:1). And in Alma 32:21 we read that ...faith is not to have perfect knowledge of things;
I Called Upon God in the Day of My Troubles
Before I found true salvation, in my confusion and despair I asked for help in this way. Yet, I allowed myself to worry the next moment and found my own way to resolve those problems. When I fully came to Christ and finally asked for His help, I realized I was not placing my full confidence in him. I found it fruitless to take back my problems and attempt to carry out my will and desire. I needed to not only turn to Him in desperation, I also needed to let go and let God manage my life and direct me according to His will.
Managing Doubts and Fears
Each day I remind myself of the need of my Heavenly Father's love and trust. Even if I should end up stumbling the infinite atonement provides a way for me to walk in forgiveness and repentance. Genuine Christian faith requires patience and compassion. I do not punish myself for any doubts or fears I may have.
Facing Difficult Days
When thou art in tribulation, and all these things are come upon thee, even in the latter days, if thou turn to the Lord thy God, and shalt be obedient unto his voice; (For the Lord thy God is a merciful God;) he will not forsake thee, neither destroy thee, nor forget the covenant of thy fathers which he sware unto them.~ Deuteronomy 4:30-31, KJV ~ ~ January 9, 2020 Devotional… Continue reading Facing Difficult Days
God’s Sovereign Reign
Our faith and assurance on Christ and Heavenly Father rests on experiencing their presence and know that they are reigning in our hearts and minds.
Courage for our spiritual journey

This hope and trust provides for us an assurance for whatever challenges may lay ahead in our spiritual journey. We may face desperate circumstances. Personal adversity. And seemingly impossible social upheavals to contend with. Yet, He is faithful toward us because he has called us into a fellowship with his Son - Jesus Christ (See, 1 Corinthians 1:9, paraphrased). And, his promise stands to protect us and strengthen us (See, 2 Thessalonians 3:3).
Confident and Assured in Our Faithfulness
