Seek Therefore the Kingdom of God
The greatest deception of humanity is materialism. Scripture not only encourages each one of us to live the high life - it warns us of the devastation of pride based on the love of money and wealth. Each of our obsession is to grab the bull by the horns and hang on to what we've accomplished in this life. It is an obsession of one's own upward mobility toward an illusion of happiness and false sense of security. Did I forget that the problem rests upon how I define upward?
He Strengthens Us in Our Sufferings
When we trust in our own strength, understanding, and will to make it through our suffering - we may inevitably become lost, hurt, betrayed, bitter, and resentful. This leads to us being separated from God's divine love and grace. Through the Gift of Faith that is offered through Jesus Christ, accepting this offer, we need to put aside our own will and desire. Surrendering to God's will and trusting in Him to strengthen us and walk with us through our struggles is where we find peace that surpasses all understanding.
God’s Sovereign Reign
Our faith and assurance on Christ and Heavenly Father rests on experiencing their presence and know that they are reigning in our hearts and minds.
