Bear Ye One Another’s Burden

Bear ye one another’s burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.
~ Galatians 6:2 ~

When my life was filled with discouragement, there was no room for concern for others. I tormented myself daily. Thoughts going in circles. Each time I decided on one desperate measure and then another. I felt suffocated with my problems. I was confused and not able to see anything straight or clear. Only hysteria and apprehension. To have found a way out of this cycle of insanity was all I sought after. I found that sanity through the miracle of Christ’s infinite atonement and my Heavenly Father’s sovereign grace.

As I started connecting with others within the Christian faith, my own problems were brought into crystal clear focus. When I shared with others, and they shared with me, I found to give some thought and compassion toward them. Through our mutual bonding and sharing I was able to gain a peace of mind. Only because of the ability to sharing experience and hope that makes fellowship with others an important aspect for growing in faith and grace. My spiritual journey is not one I have to venture on alone.

Every time I read the scriptures, or inspiring messages, I find how God’s grace is sufficient for me today. Every time I attend services and connect with others I grow in serenity and strength. My willingness to accept the rich comfort available to me in the Christian life helps me face those trials in my life. Through strength and compassion, I am able to bear another’s burden.

TODAY’S PRAYER AND MEDITATION

Heavenly Father, I am grateful for the grace and love you have bestowed upon me. Through your love I am able to gain peace and clarity of mind. My story and challenges I face are not meant to be carried alone. On the path of growing in faith I give myself over to service where I am able to carry another’s burden through fellowship, kindness, and love. Your truth declares that by our love toward one another we are your disciples. I pray for others struggling as I have to find the spirit of truth and clarity of mind they so desperately seek. In Jesus Name, Amen
