There is no greater love than that of Jesus Christ. his love is perfect, steadfast, enduring, and unconditional. Despite our fallibility and waywardness – Christ, the Good Shepherd, cares for us. What does this mean for each one of us? It is the reason we are empowered to have a personal and real spiritual impact and influence from God. It means we are empowered to have a real authentic spiritual impact and influence in the lives of others. Even though we may fall short of our Heavenly Father’s commandments, Christ’s love is powerful and deep. It is beyond our understanding. Yet, as we accept Christ’s love, walk in his footsteps, our very lives become the living testimony of His great power and love toward others. It is through His love that we experience the divine and sovereign Grace of God.

Christ-like love changes everything; may each of us come to invite Him in so that He brings change into our hearts, minds, and souls. Trust in His love each day and one will not find a single thing where Christ is now powerful enough to change, to control, and conquer. Because, Christ is the Living Son of God. Let this be our profession of faith as it was Peter’s profession and confession of faith.

Heavenly Father, through Jesus Christ, I have come to experience the divine grace and love you have offered to me – despite my wayward ways. I am changed forever by your love and the sacrifice of Christ. Today, I praise you and honor you through my act of being a living sacrifice toward obedience to your will and desire. You walk beside me throughout the course of my day.
