~ January 6, 2020 Devotional ~
When we come unto Christ. When we come and follow after Him. It is a sacred covenant we have made. We avail ourselves of His power. With Christ, as the Apostle Paul writes, we can do all things through him as he strengthens us (See, Phillipians 4:13, KJV). Yet, this is not forced. As individuals, we make the decision to act according to His will and direction.
Christ, himself, taught that if we believe on Him that we will do great and marvelous works, even greater than what he has done (See, John 14:12, KJV). This requires us to make the decision to place our faith and trust in Christ. His promise is fulfilled through us where we expect the miracles.
~ Today’s Prayer and Meditation ~
Heavenly Father, you sent your Son to bring salvation to all men. Through Him, I am empowered to be compassionate, courageous, and strong. Help me use this power wisely, Father, for not my will, your will and your glory.
