Whoso despiseth the word shall be destroyed; but he that feareth the commandment shall be rewarded
~ Proverbs 13:13, KJV ~
How do you lead a thoroughly satisfying and fulfilling life? One where there is a sense of meaning and purpose? We all want some guidance in how to navigate these troubled and trying times. Each generation looks to something far greater than themselves in order to make sense out of chaos. Here is the truth on where we may turn to find instruction, wisdom, and courage. The Scriptures teach us what it takes to live a life that is fulfilling, righteous, and full of grace and truth.
This type of life requires honesty, faith, love, kindness, humility, forgiveness, gratitude, generosity, and worship. And, the greatest example is that of our Savior. How he ministered. The way he spoke. We move to where our lives, our values, and our beliefs align to obedience in God’s laws and commandments. The Scriptures instruct us on how to conduct ourselves in a manner that is a light unto all men.
When Christ taught that we are the Salt of the Earth and the Light of the World; he taught that we are purified and empowered to be purifying in a corrupt world. He taught that we are to be the example of love and kindness people hunger and thirst after.
~ Today’s Prayer and Meditation ~
Heavenly Father, you have called me to be a salt and a light unto the world. To walk according to your will and desire. Your commandments are perfect and just. I seek your divine wisdom in order to continue to walk upright before you all the days of my life. The courage to live out your calling to be the agent of love, kindness, and forgiveness the world is dying in need of. Your way is written upon the tablets of my heart and mind. The prophets of old spoke truth in leading men and women into your truth. Bless me to live courageously in order to preach your gospel through my actions. Guide me into all truth and understanding. In Jesus Name, Amen.
I see Matt. 18:24-35, I read it as if that is me, maybe you and everyone do this too.
Then ask yourself, how are you responding to this as done today for you. Are you forgiving, because you are forgiven, forgiving to be forgiven, or forgiving, because yuo are forgiven, Maybe forgiving some, but not all.
Woe is me, when I saw I was not forgiving, even though I was and am forgiven from God, whether I sin again or not?
What a difference to see this from Father and Son’s view, not mine or this world’s view
To see I am and remain forgiven from God, because of Son’s done work at the cross, where all sin today and forever is forgiven, but one Sin. That is not a sin until one decides to believe God or not in Son that is risen, where new life is given, in the resurrected Christ, not the dead one.
God is the God of the living, not the dead
Thanking Father and Son as Won for me and the entire world, today is the day to believe and continue in that to see. After much adversity, those that will not quit beleif, one day will see, even if it takes however many years
Thanks Brother for your sharing
