~ July 9, 2020 Evening Devotion ~

Praise ye the Lord, O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever
~ Psalm 106: 1, KJV ~

Take a moment to pause and give thanks to God for the countless blessings He’s bestowed upon you this day. As we slow down and express our gratitude to the Creator, we enrich our lives and those around us. Praising God is a spiritual discipline we ought to develop and grow. Giving thanks in the morning as we take time to ponder and meditate his will for our life. Coming to him at days end and thanking him for the day and the challenges we faced.

It is through His goodness and mercy we live and breath and walk in newness of life. Growing and maturing spiritually in our faith. This is due to God having blessed us beyond measure. And, we owe him everything. This includes our gratitude and appreciation. Let us praise him daily and forget not to be thankful for the things he has provided and blessed us with.

~ Today’s Prayer and Meditation ~

Heavenly Father, help me slow down and meditate on the blessings you’ve bestowed upon me. The strength and wisdom you’ve given me to face the challenges of the day. Help me remember to give thanks to you each day of my life. Continue to bless me so that I may be a blessing to others. In Jesus Name, Amen.
