And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God
~ Ephesians 4:21, KJV ~
Spiritual mindfulness that leads toward spiritual maturity is a life long process and journey. Through our pilgrimage in this life, we are to grow in our love and knowledge of Jesus Christ. If we do not strive for spiritual growth where we increase in love and knowledge of our Savior, we do ourselves a disservice. It is not enough to merely confess Christ as our Lord and Savior that makes a spiritual and significant impact. We must walk in obedience to God’s will. Study the scriptures. Live in the center of His divine sovereign will. By doing so, we increase in our faith. We grow in His Grace and truth. We become healthy and strong in the Lord.
Each day, we commit ourselves over to God’s care and will. Our decisions either bring us closer to Him or drive us further from His light, truth, and love. Through our study of the scriptures, we are empowered to live a spiritually disciplined and mindful life where we gain a sense of meaning and purpose. And, as we lead a spiritually disciplined and mindful life, we begin to experience what it means to have an abundant life through Jesus Christ.
~ Today’s Prayer and Meditation ~
Heavenly Father, thank you for your words, your truth, and your Son – Jesus Christ. Help me gain greater appreciation for living a more mindful and spiritual life that honors you. A life that is centered in your divine and sovereign will. A life full of grace and truth that flows outwardly and inspires others to seek after thee. Work in my life so that I grow and mature. Let me be mindful of thy word and meditate upon the scriptures day and night. Continue to guide me all the days of my life. In Jesus Name, Amen.
Hebrews 5>12- Chapter 6
Told, tells me much, as I am in process, still.
putting past behind me, and standing in the present, learning, how to just be just through belief given me, seeing to count it all Joy, no matter what as said to us in James 1:1-12
Every time, I think I know, I am now real glad when I get buffeted, to keep me from the Pride that can enter in me, and has in past
