Sovereign God’s Ally

~ June 24, 2020 – Morning Devotional ~

Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: Whom resist steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world
~ 1 Peter 5:8-9, KJV ~

E.H. Chapin spoke truth when he said, Neutral men are the devil’s allies. As we are called to be a light upon the world – drawing all men to Christ – we are also called to be a watchman. Paying careful attention to what God’s word says. We also need to be vigilante and pay attention to the realities of everyday life. Through our objective observation, a Christian becomes God’s ally. Not that God needs us to defend and protect him. On the contrary, the more we pay attention to His Word and listen to the Holy Spirit, we keep ourselves from becoming neutral.

Neutrality means we have disengaged in the fight. We have allowed ourselves to shrink back. Maybe it is a lack of faith and confidence. Perchance, we fear what other’s may think when we engage in spiritual warfare and voice our concerns and raise up a witness and a warning.

God did not call us to be neutral. He has called us to raise up a warning to all. He has called us to declare that His Kingdom is at hand. The day of repentance is drawing to a close.

Noah lived in a time when the hearts of men were full of envy and pride. He was not neutral, believing and finding favor with God, Noah built the ark. A testament to the people to repent – to come unto God for redemption. In these last days, he has spoken through His Son. We are disciples of Christ, ally to God, and we declare the day of atonement has arrived.

Our duty is to fight evil. And when we stand and fight as an ally of a Sovereign God, the Devil begins to despair.

~ Today’s Prayer and Meditation ~

Heavenly Father, protect my heart, mind, and soul from those things that are evil and full of temptations in today’s age. Help me build confidence in you as I walk in obedience to your counsel and word. I know that you have ultimate victory. Keep me, strengthen me, and help me stand in the face of the adversary that seeks to destroy. In Jesus name, Amen.

  1. So, enemy. where have you been?
Roaming the earth, seeking whomever I can and devour them.
Have you seen my Servant, Job, and many others I know that will not deny me?
Yes, I have, but if you remove that hedge from around them, then you will see these will deny thee!

Not so, those in my Son, that see, do not deny he is risen and alive, where you Satan, have been stripped clean as a whistle, those keys you had, taken away forever. You are today and forever defeated in risen Son, that I raised back to life to give new life to walk new in

All you got today is Fear and guilt to use, to get to anyone and have doubt sprout in them as did Adam and Eve back then.
As a person thinks so are they. So you just out and about to get to others, by getting them to do stuff they feel guilty of. But ALL by my Son today are forgiven in the shed blood of my Son for them.
It is finished, John 19:30, what my Son came to the world to do is now done once for all.
No more atonement, Atonement was in for the first chosen to get forgiven, once a year.
That is now done once for all. All that is left is to turn from first birth in flesh and blood, to Spirit and Truth of God Father, in by risen Son, where new life is offered in Spirit and Truth only, to see what the disciples meant when said we move and have our being by God
    Acts 17:28
In God we have won, once anyone stands in belief, no matter what troubles come along,
By trying not to do, what one decides not to do, one does what one decides not to do,
Father I need you to lead, not me as I have done, and continue to fail in, not being perfect, I am accountable and in thanksgiving and Praise over all Sin taken away as far as the East is from the West

    Psalms 103:12, 100:4 \
Amazing grace to turn and accept to just trust as said in Romans 1:16-17

Thank you for spurring me Brother, I speak to me
