The Eternal Perspective

Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour; That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.
~ Titus 3:6-7, KJV ~

Christ is our Eternal Compass
~ January 12, 2020 Devotional ~

We have limited vision and are not able to know what the future may bring. Our lives are just as limited as our vision. However, God is not burdened by limited vision. He knows all things and has established a divine plan for each one of us. His plan is simple – to bring about our immortal and eternal life through Jesus Christ. This is His glory and promise to all of us who walk in His wise counsel, faithfully and obedient to His directions.

Christ’s infinite atonement provides us the promise of eternal life. It is priceless and came with a great cost.

As we face our own personal struggles, seek direction in life, and grow spiritually, we do so with an eternal perspective, vision, and hope. Christ overcame and He empowers us to overcome and endure our lives. He has claimed ultimate victory.

~ Today’s Prayer and Meditation ~

Heavenly Father, help me grow and guide me as I walk in humility and obedience to your counsel and commandments. As I faithfully serve you, I hold to the eternal hope and promise through Jesus Christ and His infinite atonement. As he overcame, through Him shall I also face the struggles of my day and overcome as well.
