Live in the Present Moment

Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.

~ Matthew 6:34 (cf Matthew 6:25-34), ESV

Living in this very moment is all we have to concern ourselves with. There is the constant desire, and impulsive need, to live for the future. Yet, it perpetually exists beyond our very own grasp. Tomorrow is the proverbial carrot dangling with temptation for the horse to move forward. And, it is sound advice to set goals, have a vision, save for the future, and sacrifice for the greater rewards. However, if we sacrifice the experiences of the present moment, we are missing out on life itself. Today is sufficient for it’s own concerns and troubles.

While the marathon runner has the finish line ahead, they pace themselves, experiencing the rhythm of their breathing, the movement of their own body being in motion. They are not racing to beat other people. They are working to improve their agility and their speed. The adrenaline flushing through their body and in that moment, they are experiencing life for what it is. The power and freedom.

Today, we have this present moment to build rapport with our God, with ourselves, and with others. A moment to experience life where anything may happen, and any change may occur. We have this moment to make an impact in our own lives as well as in the lives around us.

Today, may you feel the exhilaration of being alive and experiencing your moment for what it is. By maintaining a balance in your own perspective whereby you diminish any anxiety.

  1. Amen to you and all as we each see differently yet together in belief of God Father’s love for us in risen Son given us to be new in, after reconciling Son’s death did take away all sin as said in scripture would be done, even as John the Baptist said this too in John 1:29

Wow, it is, but this world does not see it clear, rather it is trying to do what no flesh can do, but Son who did it once for us all in his love for us from Father. And he can not be touched to do as is done by him in his flesh and blood. Why?
Because he was not born of mankind, except by woman Not man, she was a virgin as called to be for him to come here and save us from our sins by Father’s approval, that approved of him by raising Son from the dead as proof, and sanctified Jesus, Yashsuah Ha’ Mashiach as High Priest forever.

Then Yashsuah hands back over the keys to Father at the end of all this, when he sets up the new earth here on the earth.

Rev. 21 Just waiting now for all the enemies to be put under him, not by force ever, by us being given the free choice to choose Father and Son or not.

There at that time in the end of all, where the new begins, not one person will have an excuse ever, For all will have known and all consciously will have had the free choice to choose, and so Father in Son and Son in Father will separate the Chaff from the Wheat.

His choice in truth as truth be spoken in Matt 18:24-35, we each are given this same forgiveness to choose to forgive or not any other, and so as we do in response to this is whether or not anyone or a few get taken back to court or not as that man in that allegory was taken back righteously so,

IN Matt. 18:24-35, this was said before he went right cross willingly to forgiven us all, not a few as clergy claims he is right and is not.

  2. not easily seen, yet true to the “T” Thank you Brother for this post in truth. For I can not do a thing about past, whether good or bad to me and others. I can’t do a thing about future either, but plan it for me. As I have been taught to do, along with you and each person too here on earth growing up in flesh nature we all are first born in.

We each grow up and make choices, whether good or bad we, at least I make them and either get good stuff or not in return for them.

And I have gotten both, and most focus on the bad rather than the good. Yet when focused on the good and got proud in that, I found out that is not god, at least for me.

How to stand in the present second for eternity? Not in the past, not in the possible or not future, I make up in my own mind. Even if I think God is in it? Who am I to say I see future and depend on it to be that way?

Am I not setting myself up for anger and depression, if it does not go as I say and think it should?
Oh how many times things did not happen as I thought it should!
Finally heard this verse in James

James 4:10-17 Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)

10 Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.

11 Speak not evil one of another, brethren. He that speaketh evil of his brother, and judgeth his brother, speaketh evil of the law, and judgeth the law: but if thou judge the law, thou art not a doer of the law, but a judge. 12 There is one lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy: who art thou that judgest another?

13 Go to now, ye that say, To day or to morrow we will go into such a city, and continue there a year, and buy and sell, and get gain: 14 whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away. 15 For that ye ought to say, If the Lord will, we shall live, and do this, or that. 16 But now ye rejoice in your boastings: all such rejoicing is evil. 17 Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.

Verse 13, go to now, The present and stand in it, is what I get from this, stay in the present go do what you are trying to do top live here, just do it expect what you think to be, for it might not be.

How to let go of what my mind has gotten set on to be? Only Father in Spirit and Truth can reveal this to each of his Kid’s, not Jerry’s kids, Fathers Kids that are his

Below is to me a better translation in of the Living Bible

    James 4:10-17 Living Bible (TLB)

10 Then when you realize your worthlessness before the Lord, he will lift you up, encourage and help you.

11 Don’t criticize and speak evil about each other, dear brothers. If you do, you will be fighting against God’s law of loving one another, declaring it is wrong. But your job is not to decide whether this law is right or wrong, but to obey it. 12 Only he who made the law can rightly judge among us. He alone decides to save us or destroy. So what right do you have to judge or criticize others?

13 Look here, you people who say, “Today or tomorrow we are going to such and such a town, stay there a year, and open up a profitable business.” 14 How do you know what is going to happen tomorrow? For the length of your lives is as uncertain as the morning fog—now you see it; soon it is gone. 15 What you ought to say is, “If the Lord wants us to, we shall live and do this or that.” 16 Otherwise you will be bragging about your own plans, and such self-confidence never pleases God.

17 Remember, too, that knowing what is right to do and then not doing it is sin.

So only listen and hear from with in, where Father took up residence with you from that very first day you believed him in Son as risen for you to walk new in

Eph 1:13 tells me this truth and Phil 1:6 does this too. In belief not in having to see as man does always, at least I did and still can and this body I reckon as dead does not want to be, this fight continues as said in Gal. 4:29

    Galatians 4:29 Living Bible (TLB)

29 And so we who are born of the Holy Spirit are persecuted now by those who want us to keep the Jewish laws, just as Isaac, the child of promise, was persecuted by Ishmael, the slave-wife’s son.
