Our Call to be Strong and Courageous

Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the Lord your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you.”

~Deuteronomy 31:6, ESV ~

This life is a miracle and an amazing gift for us. Included is the spiritual awakening promised by our recovery program. Yet, there are those days when we do not feel powerful and alive. Instead, we feel weak, insecure, inadequate, and unprepared toward our tasks. We are perplexed and stymied. One day, we are filled with exuberant joy where we feel alive. The next, we feel subdued and burdened by life’s demands.

Through the power of the Spirit of God, we are able to seek new perspectives. Are we attempting to maintain control over something or someone? Are we behaving in a manner where we still have expectations of how the world ought to conform to our desires? Rather than accepting and embracing what life truly is?

We are called to be strong and courageous in all things. We are no longer to walk in fear and dread. Because, when we committed our lives and will over to God’s sovereign care, He has promised to faithfully guide us. He goes with us every day. God, our Father, is not willing to leave or forsake us.

Today, may you find the pleasure and exuberance that comes with being alive. Recognizing the simple power to be a person who knows God is there.

  1. Wherever I have gone or even go, matters not, for God is there. Which teaches me his sovereign Love for me and all people.
    Not punishing us, as it looked as was in the first testament given us. God has been Love sovereign forever from the start to finish.

    Now I have done much wrong stuff, even willingly knowing not to, and yet saw me doing it anyway, as Paul discusses to us in Romans 7, that is not easy to understand until revealed to you from Father of risen Son in spirit and truth. yet to see as well, I do not have any righteousness of my own, NONE!!!!!

    Yet I do, you do and all in belief to God have righteousness in spite of us, doing wrong and right stuff
    This righteousness we have is God’s, that has decided to share it with us, And does with Son for us to get this new life in Son’s risen Life to abide in and do as led.

    Not by trying to do it, as that is needed yes, Then!

    Hebrews 4:9-11 Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)

    9 There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God. 10 For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his. 11 Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.

    I see we do not find out what Father’s rest is for us, until we seek him out with all our beings.
    Thanks, and not that I have gained, but God has for us to be new in belief to his ;lover and mercy given us by Son alone for us
