He who does not take up his cross is not worthy of me
God has a greater plan for all of us. Yet, we walk by faith each day. Throughout our lives, we will experience hardships and difficulties. We are called to live in confidence and not fear. In those times where we experience difficulties, God is faithful in continually blessing us. He knows our needs and is ready to provide for us.
Despite this, we falter and become feeble minded through our own frustrations. We believe God has forgotten us. Or, we may even question God’s plan for our own lives. This is because we have given ourselves over to fear. We place our hearts and minds on what we believe may bring happiness and contentment into our lives to only find disappointment.
If what we are pursuing is more important than our relationship with God, then we stand unworthy to receive His blessings. It is far better for us to place our faith and trust in God. Even when we may not see how we will accomplish those things in our lives. It is during those times of trials where we truly have a test of confidence in God.
