This is His day and I will rejoice

This is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.

Everyday we engage in recovery, let it be a day of celebration. This is what the 118th Psalm reminds us of. As we surrender our life and will over to a Sovereign God, we are given challenges that promote opportunities to find greater meaning and purpose in His sovereign and divine will.

We only have this moment. How we use this day is our responsibility. How we come to be of service toward others. How we walk in His presence, being obedient to His word, and following Him as we take up our cross (see, Matthew 16:24-26).

Let us consistently give God the glory, treasuring this precious moment He has blessed us with. Praise and be thanksgiving toward Him for the grace he offers us. Allow ourselves to be used for His good will and purpose. Be encouraged, live in joy, and let us rejoice and be glad in His day – each day.
